Diverse vedlikehold p\u00e5 stasjonen, med maling av verkstedgulv samt stormsikring av internettparabolen er eksempler p\u00e5 arbeid utf\u00f8rt i godv\u00e6ret. Sistnevnte har selvsagt hatt h\u00f8y prioritet. Det har blitt to p\u00e5skeskiturer til Beisarhytta, vedsekker er fraktet over til Bj\u00f8rnebo, slik at man er sikret varme om man skulle stryke forbi, og det er foretatt m\u00e5linger av istykkelsen utenfor stasjonen. Det var ikke mer enn to-tre dager med temperaturer under -10 som skulle til f\u00f8r vi hadde et isdekke rundt \u00f8ya. Til glede, fasinasjon og en god porsjon spenning for oss \u00f8ybeboere. F\u00f8rste bj\u00f8rn ved stasjonen var den 21<br \/>\n. mars, og dagen etter var bj\u00f8rnen og snusa rundt Bj\u00f8rnebo mens hyttegjestene (Martin, B\u00f8lge, Kr\u00e6kling og Gisle) var p\u00e5 tur over Sm\u00e5humpen. Det var tydelig at bj\u00f8rnen hadde ligget \u00e5 ventet p\u00e5 leilighet for \u00e5 sjekke ut hytta. Gisle fant hvilegropa etter bj\u00f8rnen p\u00e5 vei ned fra Sm\u00e5humpen. Derfra hadde bamsen aket seg ned fjellsida, og tatt seg bort til hytta. Da p\u00e5sketuristene\u00a0kom tilbake og skulle pakke sammen for \u00e5 dra tilbake til stasjonen, hadde bj\u00f8rnen snust rundt b\u00e5de Bj\u00f8rnebo og Russehytta.
