Barflekkene i fjellsida over stasjonen er ikke flekker lenger, men bare fjellsider. Store grupper \u00c6rfugl driver rundt p\u00e5 brinken, kanskje p\u00e5 leting etter reirplass. Ute p\u00e5 tunet er sn\u00f8dekt mark byttet ut med gr\u00e5stein og gj\u00f8rme. Met.fullmektigen ble h\u00f8flig bedt av Sjefen om \u00e5 begynne \u00e5 ta av seg skoene i yttergangen<br \/>\n. Stasjonen skal vaskes fra gulv til tak. Bilder, bilderammer, st\u00e5lamper og pynt og gardiner. Harald har p\u00e5 hvithanskene og sjekker hver en krik og en krok, opp\u00e5 listene, under hyllene, bak TV-en, mellom ledningene. Ja, Kongen og Dronninga har f\u00e5tt fornyet glans\u00a0der de pryder opp veggen bak kaffetrakteren. Kaldlageret har blitt ryddet, og i dag sto stua for tur. Diverse prosjekter har blitt ferdigstilt<br \/>\n. Malingslageret, den gamle snekkerboden, har f\u00e5tt en liten ansiktsl\u00f8fting, med nytt gulvbelegg, et str\u00f8k maling og litt nytt inventar. Lysp\u00e6rer har blitt skiftet i to av mastene p\u00e5 stasjonsomr\u00e5det og Harald og Steinar har hatt opprydding i verkstedet. I midten av mai kom KV Harstad innom med nye forsyninger. Etter en del baling i b\u00f8lgene var det taco med ferske gr\u00f8nnsaker til middag. Ellers har den daglige tilf\u00f8rselen av hundesjit i hundeg\u00e5rden nesten doblet seg. Vi har hatt midnattssol i ganske n\u00f8yaktig \u00e9n m\u00e5ned. Selv om ikke sola skinner til en hver tid, gj\u00f8r mangelen p\u00e5 nattefrost at tiningen foreg\u00e5r hele d\u00f8gnet. Landskapet har v\u00e6rt vinterlig og vakkert, dog har sj\u00f8isen ikke v\u00e6rt stabil nok til \u00e5 kunne brukes som ferdarveg. Seks timer senere og om lag 20 kilometer lenger nord, i Braastadskaret, l\u00e5 den d\u00f8d p\u00e5 sn\u00f8en. Mon tro var det samme ugle, og mon tro hadde den fulgt etter oss. Sporene innover til klesknaggene levnet lite\u00a0tvil om hvem synderen var.
